Nursery Wall Mural

Sometimes, through the pass of time, our clients ask for special stuff or different proucs which usually we don´t work with. Not a long time a go, this very special client asked a nursery mural about mice. At the beginning we were not very convinced about it, but at last, we decided to take the challenge. Check out how was it:

At the beginning, it was merely mom and siblings. Thus, one of the clients tols us: “Hey, this is incomplete! Where is daddy?” In order to make her feel comfortable. we decided to include a daddy. He has a loupe to take care of the little one.

It was a real challenge because it was a new experience, but as always, it was an amazing opportunity to share a mom daughter time:

Solutions for Dark Kids Bedroom

Most of the times, children´s bedrooms are one of the smallest spaces on the house. Moreover, the windows are too small and the illumination is very poor. We interior designers and you at your home, should take into account some important tricks in order to make the space brighter and bigger.

It has only one window and it has a lot of lighting situations. So we decided to change the wall color into a brighter to reflect more the lght and seem the sace bigger.

We got a bright color of walls and we added intense colors with accesories, such as fofr example, wall decoration, window treatment, and other accesories.

4 Ideas for personalizing nursery bedroom

When you are developing the nursery bedroom, one of the most imortant thigs is to make yours the space. Having personalized items specially for you baby is a great idea. Today I am going to show you some personalized items so you can choose the best option for you.

NBA starts today and many of us love basketball and specially NBA. A few time ago, on a designers social web, I read lots of people were looking for a NBA bedding set but it was sold out.. So my mother and I decided to handmake it. I´m a huge NBA fan, so I was more than glad to start with it. Check out some of the quilt details:

This is an awsome comfoter. It´s hand quilted. If you want one just like this one, is recomendable to have the walls on a bright color such as Ivory, so the comforter can be the most interesting thing on the space. Ballet Room Decoration Ideas

I have always dream to learn dancing. Into the process of getting cured of an illness five years ago, I decided to make my huge dream come true. As I got into the process, I discovered my ballet teacher loved everything that had ballet slippers. At the end of the year, I was looking for a present for my teacher and there was nothing I could give to a ballet ballerina. So we decided to make our own “Ballet bedroom decoration”.

Most ballerinas like ballet slippers, lilac and pink. So we decided to create cute products so that they could have nice stuff mixing ballet.

Baby girl nursery

When parents come to check out our product, sometimes they already have some accesories and they are looking for some personalized items. Kyara´s mother was that case. Fortunately, her walls were on a light pink which made the space seem bigger and brighter.

This is a Carter´s bedding set. Our client brought the bedding set, valance, rug and hamper. She explained to us she wanted little ladybugs and a shelf wall for decoration. She also wanted  her baby´s name on the door. Finally a dimmeable lamp would work on a nightstand table.

All this products mixed with bright colors on the wall make the bedroom seem cozy, tender and cute. The most inetresting of this space is it´s simplicity. It´s just three colors but it´s right on its point.

About Under Ten CR

Under Ten is a family-run bussiness. At the beginning, it started as a hobby for Marianela.

I started making stuff for my home. My friends and neighboors watched it and they really liked it. One day, a friend of mine asked me if I could sale her an accessory for her daughter bedroom. I did it, and that way, I considered that might be a business.

On november 2010, Under Ten assisted to it´s first exposition on Costa Rica. Over there, we discovered we actually had a great produt which could be merchandised.

I always noticed at Costa Rica there was not enough options to decorate nursery bedrooms, so I decided to get specialized on that. My husband was always very supportive and he has been always there to help on whatever he cans.

Since then, Andrea Madrigal, co-founder, got into the business with her mother. Andrea is specialized on interior design on Laureate University.

One day, we were on a client´s bedroom and I got realized that our work are not only the nursery accesories. Moreover, we understand parent´s illusion when they´re designing baby´s bedroom. So I decided to get into the university to give the best advices for parents.
